Connecticut DeMolay has been fortunate to have numerous individuals who have dedicated their efforts to our jurisdiction over the years. This year, the following persons have been honored for their persistent contributions to our Order, our Jurisdiction, and our Chapters:
Active Legion of Honor:
Dad James P. Cavanaugh II is a Past State Master Councilor, a Chevalier, and a Past Master Councilor of Sleeping Giant Chapter. He is also a Master Ritualist, has served as the Director of Sessions at Conclave, and is a Chapter Advisor for Sleeping Giant Chapter.
Dad Michael R. Gendreau is a distinguished individual, having served as the Past State Master Councilor, been honored with the title of Chevalier, led as the Past Master Councilor of Milford Chapter, and excelled as a Master Ritualist. He has also contributed significantly in the role of Past Assistant State Chapter Dad.
Civic Legion of Honor:
Mom Karen Beals, honored with the Cross of Honor, has dedicated many years as the Registrar for both Conclave and Brotherhood Weekend, and as an Advisor for the Nathan Hale Chapter during its revival.
Mom Anne K. Needham holds the position of Supreme Faith for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, has been honored with the Cross of Honor, and is the Supreme Inspector for the Connecticut jurisdiction of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Dad Roger Smith, recipient of the Cross of Honor, Past State Chapter Dad, and Past Chapter Advisor for Sleeping Giant Chapter.
Chevalier:
Brother Aiden P. Nielsen, who serves as Deputy State Master Councilor and Past Master Councilor of Marcus Holcomb Chapter, has been honored with the Past Master Councilor’s Meritorious Service Award.
Cross of Honor:
Mom Christine Arseneau has been an advisor of Marcus Holcomb Chapter for many years and a supporter of Connecticut DeMolay.
