On the weekend of August 5th-7th, the Connecticut State Officers ventured to Massachusetts Conclave for the weekend, and State Master Councilor Jack and Executive Officer Dad Beals attended Saturday, August 6th of Maine Conclave!

To begin the weekend, we attended the Friday session where State Master Councilor Jack and Executive Officer Dad Beals brought greetings from Connecticut DeMolay, and invited Massachusetts DeMolay to Brotherhood Weekend! We then witnessed incredible degree work put on by the Massachusetts State Officers and congratulations to the newest members for joining DeMolay! Afterward, we participated in the annual Tug Of War Tournament, placing 2nd place out of 16 teams!

Saturday morning, Jack and Dad Beals drove 4 and a half hours up to Bangor Maine for their Saturday of Conclave! We arrived by participating in their dunk tank and catching up with old friends. We then drove to the Shriners building where they had their annual State Officers Installation! Congratulations to Jack Theriault for being installed as State Master Councilor of the Maine DeMolay Association for the 2022-2023 Term! We appreciate Maine DeMolay’s hospitality and we are excited to strengthen ties between our two jurisdictions!

As Jack and Dad Beals visited Maine DeMolay for their Conclave, the Connecticut State Officers stayed at Massachusetts Conclave in which they competed in a dodgeball tournament! Connecticut again placed 2nd, showing that together we can overcome 16 teams twice and still have fun as a team! Throughout the rest of the day, they participated in Conclave events, getting even closer as a state suite, and supporting our brothers in Massachusetts!

Lastly, Sunday morning came and the Connecticut delegation attended the annual Massachusetts DeMolay State Officers Installation! We would like to congratulate Ryan Saucier for being installed as the State Master Councilor for the 2022-2023 Massachusetts DeMolay term! We would also like to Congratulate Dad Gerrish on being announced as the new Personal Representative and soon-to-be-installed Executive Officer!

This was an absolutely fantastic weekend, and we look forward to traveling more throughout the rest of the summer!
