Centennial Celebration & Banquet

Centennial Celebration & Banquet

On Saturday, March 4th 2023, Connecticut DeMolay celebrated our 100th Anniversary!! We began this historic occasion with opening the State Chapter, and a newly written rededication ceremony! Each State Officer rededicated our jurisdiction with the values of our Cardinal Virtues. Afterwards, we served a fantastic meal for our guests where over 175 people were able to reconnect, catch up, and enjoy the ceremonies that we presented.  Towards the end of the event we had dignitaries all speak about Connecticut DeMolay such as;

  • Dad Christopher J. Earl, the 45th SMC of Connecticut, Past Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Connecticut DeMolay Foundation who talked about the early history of Connecticut DeMolay.
  • Dad Harry E. Needham III, Honorary PSMC, Past Executive Officer, and Region 1 Representative to the Board of Directors who discussed the plans of the ISC.
  • Brother Sebastian R. Pesquera, the 91st SMC of Connecticut and currently serves as the 56th ICS of DeMolay International who talked about how the International DeMolay Congress is benefiting Connecticut DeMolay.
  • Brother Jack A. Campbell, who currently serves as the 92nd SMC of Connecticut about where we are now as a jurisdiction and our plans moving forward into the next Century.
  • Executive Officer Dad Brian E. Beals, who discussed the plans moving forward on the executive level.
  • MWGM Dad Bruce R. Bellmore, who talked about The Road Begins Here!

MWGM Dad Bellmore was then promptly presented with the William Campbell Medal for his service to Connecticut DeMolay! It was an absolute perfect evening celebrating our first 100 years, and we look forward to going into the next century of DeMolay in Connecticut!!
